Valentines Day 14th February 2011 start date for Leeds Arena
A report to Leeds City Council's executive board today set out the timescale for the £80m scheme in more detail than ever before. The report also says the venue – due to open in early 2013 – will have 24 executive suites and more than 100 concession, merchandise and retail "points of sale". Publicly-financed regional development agency Yorkshire Forward is meeting about £10m of the scheme's cost, with the remainder coming from the council. (more)
