Status Quo and Depeche Mode join Leeds Arena roster

VETERAN rockers Status Quo have become the latest big-name act to announce a show at Leeds Arena.

Leeds Arena becomes SMG First Direct Arena as First Direct Bank sponsors the venue.

Leeds unveils the first direct Arena, as the Leeds based bank announces major sponsorship deal.

The first direct arena will have a pre-launch event on July 24th with Bruce Springsteen, followed by its official opening by Sir Elton John on the 4th of September.

Status Quo confirmed for the Leeds Arena Gig

 

The Quo will be playing the 13,500-capacity venue on December 17 2013, it has been confirmed.

Support band will be 10CC, who scored massive chart successes during the 1970s with songs such as Rubber Bullets and I’m Not In Love.

 

Tickets for the Status Quo gig are available from £38.50 and go on sale from Friday 12th April 2013

Tickets for the Depeche Mode gig are priced £45 and go on sale on Friday 12th April 2013.
