The Leeds Arena site covers an area of over 5 acres, and has been selected as the preferred location by senior councillors in Leeds for the construction of the multi-million pound venue. The council will own the land and the building, the Leeds Arena will be managed by the selected operator SMG. It is anticpated that the venue will have 12,500 seats and be suitable for a wide variety of entertainment and sporting events.
The Leeds Arena site is just to the North of the Leeds Merrion Centre. The site is bordered by Brunswick Terrace, Claypit Lane and the Leeds Inner Ring Road.Leeds Map showing approximate outline of the Leeds Arena development site:
